What are the different techniques to create depth of field?

    These pictures are created with the topic of Figure as Landscape. I tried to explore how to create a contract using lighting, polarizing, and coloring.

    The image was solarized to highlight the outline of the figure. The first image used contrast from the background to emphasize the figure, drawing the reader's attention to the center. By solarizing, the second image made the face of the figure outstanding.

 

    For the two silver gelatin prints, I tried to create a contrast with the lighting. In one photo, framing was used. The light that comes from outside can contrast with the darkness indoors. In the other picture, the lightning came from the front of the figure. The reflection on the glasses is created to create variations.

 

    The hand coloring photo was created in a way based on similar to other photos. The background is painted with a gradient from yellow to purplish red. Purplish blue was used to color the shadow areas on the face and yellow was used to highlight the bright part of the face.
